Happy pigs make healthy pigs. Why are our pigs healthier for you than your typical grocery store pork? Our sows are allowed to give birth naturally, reducing stress and giving your pig a healthy start. Factory raised pigs are raised on concrete. Some never see the light of day their entire life. They are never allowed to wallow in a mud hole or stick their snouts in the dirt, both of which are natural behaviors for a pig. Sunshine and fresh air give your pig vitamin D naturally and the earth provides iron.

No hormones or antibiotics or anything other than food you would eat yourself are given to our pigs. Their feed is free of antibiotics and they are not crowded in small pens. In addition to what they can find while foraging, they eat a diet consisting largely of farm fresh milk from our own dairy cows and eggs from our free range chickens. We purchase our feed and supplies locally, and keep our dollars circulating in the local economy.
